According to a report in The Verge, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced recently that Threads will get the much-needed edit button soon. This means that users will be able to edit their posts after they have been published. Until now, there was no edit option on Threads. But the edit button will have a time limit. Users will only be able to edit a Threads post five minutes after it has been published. After that, they will not be able to make any changes to the post. Another point to note is that users will not be able to see edit history on Threads. Therefore, it will be impossible to know what was written before the Threads post was edited. In addition to this, Threads is also adding the option to let users share voice notes on the platform. All that a user needs to do is tap the new microphone button and record their voice. This note will then be shared on the platform.
