This trend is fueled by the adoption of digital payment solutions, with 55% of consumers expected to increase digital payment usage. SMBs are transitioning from survival to growth mode, leveraging digital payments for efficiency and reaching wider audiences. Key insights include 79% of businesses focusing on expanding into new geographies, 90% of retailers viewing cross-border sales as growth opportunities, and 72% of consumers comfortable with global purchases. The study also indicates a push towards cashless operations, with 95% of SMBs aiming to be cashless, and 51% planning to achieve this within two years by accepting mobile payment apps, wallets, and contactless cards. SMBs plan to enhance marketing efforts, with a focus on social media and new product offerings.
