Samsung Electronics has increased its stake in Rainbow Robotics from 14.7% to 35% for KRW 267 billion ($181 billion), aiming to accelerate humanoid robot development. Rainbow Robotics, founded by KAIST researchers, specializes in mobile manipulators and autonomous robots. Samsung plans to integrate Rainbow as a subsidiary, establish a Future Robotics Office, and expand its robotics initiatives globally.
