India’s approach to e-commerce regulation risks undermining MSME growth in the country. By focusing on only one segment of the market, current regulations may unintentionally hamper MSME competitiveness and seller autonomy. A cohesive regulatory framework is necessary to ensure MSMEs can compete fairly, boost transparency, and support India’s economic vision of reaching USD 1 trillion in exports.
