New Mexico State University (NMSU) is extending its online accelerator, the Business Model Sprint, as part of the Scale Up New Mexico program. The initiative focuses on tech startups in the state, offering a free six-week program aimed at refining and validating their business models. The accelerator, running from February 15 to March 21, involves interactive sessions covering various aspects of business model development to guide participants toward sustainable growth and market success. Carlos Murguia, program manager for Scale Up NM, emphasized the collaborative nature of the Sprint model, facilitating meaningful connections between entrepreneurs and stakeholders that can lead to potential investments and partnerships. Arrowhead Center's program supports early-stage startups' growth, community development in New Mexico, by fostering local innovation and addressing commercialization barriers in various industry sectors.
