Google has announced a new feature for its Chrome browser on Android called "Minimized Custom Tabs," which aims to make multitasking between apps and web content more seamless. When a user taps on a link within a participating app, such as Gmail, the Chrome Custom Tab will open with a new "minimize" button in the toolbar. The feature is rolling out in Chrome version M124.
