Fingerprints, a biometrics company, has launched Smart´Nroll, an easy and reusable enrollment device for biometric payment cards. The device allows users to securely register fingerprints on their payment cards in under a minute, supporting both 'at-home' and 'in-branch' enrollment. Smart´Nroll facilitates a smooth, convenient, and secure process, compatible with large-scale launches of biometric payment cards. It works with STPay-Topaz-Bio and includes a re-use bank program, replaceable battery, and strong security measures, ensuring GDPR compliance by not storing personal fingerprint data. For new biometric payment card users, Smart´Nroll powers the payment card during the registration phase. The device also guides the user through the enrollment process, with a self-explanatory display, prompts and progress bar that are accessible to speakers of any language. Fingerprints has previously shipped over one million fingerprint sensor modules for biometric payment cards.
