Amazon may increase its stake in Anthropic, a competitor of OpenAI. The Information reports that Amazon is negotiating a multibillion-dollar investment in Anthropic, the company's first financial commitment since a $4 billion agreement last year. Although it has a different structure, the new investment is structured similarly to the previous one. To train its AI, Amazon wants Anthropic to use silicon created by Amazon and hosted on Amazon Web Services.
