96% of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) struggle with at least one aspect of investigating suspicious alerts, highlighting a gap in their cybersecurity skills and expertise, according to Sophos research. Sophos’ survey, which gathered data from 5,000 IT and cybersecurity professionals across 14 countries, found that a third of the time, no one is actively monitoring or responding to security alerts in SMBs.
